Receptions - Group Gatherings

The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa has seven unique banquet rooms available for receptions of 40 - 300 guests. The Music Room, which resembles a baronial hall of a Spanish Castle, can accommodate events of 170 - 300 guests. The wooden ceiling beams and minstrel's gallery were inspired by the Mission San Miguel, while the pews at the rear of the room are replicas of the those found in the Westminster Abbey. Draped in a rich gold fabric, the Spanish Art Gallery is a perfect setting for events of 80 - 120 guests. The grand marble staircase, which descends into the Spanish Art Gallery from the Atrio, is the perfect setting for the bride and groom's introduction and grand entrance. Originally built as an art gallery and museum, the Galleria is located beside the St. Francis of Assisi Chapel and can accommodate events of 120 - 170 guests. Adorned with priceless antique statues around the perimeter of the room, the Galleria also boosts a Tiffany stained-glass window. If you are planning a banquet, wedding or special event, the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa's Catering Department will assist you with the details to ensure a memorable event.

Each wedding held at the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa writes a new page in the hotel's rich and colorful history. In fact, bringing people together has been part of the hotel's legacy for more than a century. The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa offers a variety of wedding packages, each including the following amenities: On-site professional Wedding Coordinator; A recently renovated Glenwood room for your wedding night, complete with champagne and chocolates for two; Bridal dressing room for the bride and bridesmaids prior to the ceremony; Grooms dressing room for the groom and groomsmen prior to the ceremony; World class catering menus, including the option for customized menus; Preferred listing of off-site wedding vendors and professionals; Coordination of wedding ceremony rehearsal; Hotel accommodations for the wedding party and out-of town guests, upon availability; Rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, bridal showers and bridesmaid and groomsmen luncheons can be arranged through the catering office. ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI CHAPEL: Designed and built to house two of the most treasured artifacts at the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa, the Rayas Altar and the Tiffany stained-glass windows, the St. Francis of Assisi chapel offers an elegant and timeless location for your wedding. The chapel will accommodate up to 150 guests seated. St. Joseph, the patron saint of brides, stands in the center of the altar, where His benevolent and protective gaze welcomes brides as they partake in their wedding ceremony. ST. CECILIA CHAPEL: Tucked into a corner of the St. Francis Atrio, is the wedding chapel dedicated to St. Cecilia, the patron saint of music. The antique marriage altar of gesso and gold leaf, dated 1740, is one of the oldest objects at the Inn. Above the altar, the carved wooden ceiling panel shines with gold leaf and the chapel's single window is signed by Louis Comfort Tiffany. The St. Cecilia chapel can accommodate up to 12 guests seated or up to 15 guests standing. Following your ceremony in either of our chapels, the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa has seven banquet rooms to satisfy your needs.
