On January 30, SoCal museums will be free
All you museum-lovers, mark your calendars: January 30 1 is when 30 Southern California museums will let you and your family in for free. Some of the biggest museums in the region, including the L.A. County Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Natural History Museum of L.A. County are included.

It's all part of the Museums Free-for-All program, an annual drive to make SoCal visitors and residents aware of the many excellent museums in the region. Some of the participating museums already offer free general admission on all days.

Regular parking fees apply. The free offer is good only for general admission, not for specially ticketed exhibitions. Participating museums that are normally closed on Saturdays will offer free admission on Jan. 31.
