Enjoy 5-hour limo ride through Sonoma vineyards
Okay, wine-lovers, how about a five-hour road trip that goes 1 just 12 miles but takes you high enough to have a time you're sure to remember? It's happening in Sonoma County, where Pure Luxury Transportation has launched it's Wonderful Westside Road Wine Tour for spring 2014.

You'll travel 12 miles between Healdsburg and River Road, a trip highlighted by a tasting and lunch at VML Winery and tasting stops at Gary Farrell Vineyards and Winery and Thomas George Estates.

The cost is $115 per person for a group of between six and 10, and you'll be traveling either in limousines or buses, depending on how large your group is.

There are many bed-and-breakfasts and small inns in Healdsburg, so you'll want to consider spending the night there. The town was named after an Ohio entrepreneur who set up the town grid way back in the 1850's and sold lots for $15 apiece. In the center of town you'll find a Spanish-style plaza, the perfect centerpiece for the town's many historic buildings.

You'll find there are a lot of gourmet restaurants in this beautiful little town, as well as and high-end galleries, and wonderful shops offering apparel, jewelry and other gifts.

Dry Creek Road almost seems European because it is rural and colorful. Vineyards, flower fields, mystic vistas seem to be around every corner. Every few miles there is another winery, many with tasting rooms.
