Visitors play new game while touring CA cities
1Instead of letting your kids stay glued to their cell phones incessantly playing games while you take your family on vacation, why not make your vacation a game?

Urban Adventure Quest has done that with a number of California cities, the latest being Santa Barbara. They've turned the entire city into a giant game board as part of their guided scavenger hunt adventure.

It's an interactive walking tour that leads visitors throughout the city to some of the most notable sites in Santa Barbara. Guests create a team online and then travel to the start location to begin the adventure, which takes up to three hours. Along the way they'll discover famous sites and hidden gems, all the while learning fun facts and the history of the city.

Guests purchase the game online for one price per team, and then they play on their own schedule.

In addition to the newly launched Santa Barbara Quest, there are eight additional California Quests including Big Bear Lake, Catalina Island, Hollywood, Los Angeles, L.A. Getty Museum, Sacramento, San Diego and San Francisco, with Paso Robles coming this summer.
