Big Bear Lake to host Starlight Festival
The folks at Big Bear continue to launch new and Big Bear Lake, California 1exciting events as a way of attracting visitors to this gorgeous part of Southern California.

They will hold their first Big Bear Starlight Festival on May 24 and 25 in Big Bear Village. It's a hands-on event where visitors can get experience with science and astronomy and enjoy lots of art and technology displays.

NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory will be sending along astronauts and scientists and visitors also will be able to talk with the Big Bear Observatory team, who will lead tours of the Observatory.

You can even touch a stone from space and view the sun through a filtered telescope during daytime, and see the moon and stars through the telescope at night.

The event is hosted by the Astronomy Outreach Network.
